What is AssetBook?
AssetBook is an IoT platform that gathers all your smart systems in one place. Which protocols does AssetBook support?
AssetBook supports 18 protocols and connection types: MQTT, WebSocket, REST API, DALI, LoRaWAN, BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, KNX, OCPP, Casambi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE, Matter over Thread, GPS, 2G/3G/4G/5G.
Do we need to replace our existing devices?
No. AssetBook connects to the equipment you already have, whatever the brand, through the AssetBook Gateway, LoRaWAN gateways, third-party gateways or cloud integrations. There is no rip-and-replace.
How can AssetBook be deployed?
As a private cloud in municipality-operated data centers, as a hybrid of cloud and on-premises, fully on-premises for maximum control, or across multiple sites with redundant nodes for failover and high availability.
How does AssetBook keep data and devices secure?
Data is stored encrypted in EU-based data centers and handled in line with GDPR. Only encrypted data reaches the server, every device has a unique key and can only do what it is allowed to do, and AssetBook is an ioXt Alliance member secured against the OWASP IoT Top 10. Users can sign in with password, 2FA, BankID, Freja eID or hardware keys.
Can AssetBook integrate with our other systems?
Yes. The Open API portal provides a full REST API for third-party integrations, and MQTT and WebSocket are supported, so system owners can connect their own systems to AssetBook.
Does AssetBook support ESG and EPBD reporting?
Yes. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reports and Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) compliance reporting are built in, with automated email reports and PDF export.
